This is a harris hawk, I believe, that I had the fun of snapping at Cressing Barn Temple during a medieval fair. There were a whole line of hunting birds and my grandmother helped me take a photo by waving her fingers around in a prey-like manner. Sometimes I wonder why my family likes attracting the attention of predators.
