Sunset in the alps Tuesday, Feb 5 2008

is awfully pretty, isn’t it? Here, the sun can set in pure crimson, we’re that bad. But there, a pale gorgeous red. Mmm. Can I has trip to Alps?

Yep, Monday, Feb 4 2008

I was running around taking many photos. Power lines ruined many of them.

I hate power lines.

A little more mountain. Sunday, Feb 3 2008

This being part of a view from the place I was staying at, with my mother’s boyfriend’s parents. (The boyfriend and his family are dutch, although they do seem to be rather spread over Europe – some christmas cards went to France, and Ireland, and… -_-)

I don’t really think the Alps are mountains any more. For one, I’ve been there. They are big, but strangely not as big as I thought they were.

I shall never go to the Himalayas, for the sheer sake of being able to consider them mountains still.

Great views Saturday, Feb 2 2008

are usually interrupted by things like power lines, or buildings, or people. But, on top of a mountain, there are no such things. This was in the Austria Alps – whilst I’m going through my old folders with a new eye, I might as well show you, hm? :D

Elsewhere, my attempts to take photographs of views were hindered by these modern things. But I really don’t want to go up that ski lift thing to the top of a mountain again, should I be in Austria again, because I was terrified going up and down. It may be solid rock, but I was also not going anywhere near the edge.

I can get vertigo at the top of the multistory carpark, for pete’s sake. :/
