Look! Monday, Feb 11 2008

It’s the roof of the Natural History Museum!

Okay, Sunday, Feb 10 2008

well, first, the dinosaur exhibition is impossible to photograph in decently. But here’s the sleeping dinosaur baby outside of it. Everyone stops to stare at this darling.

Mmmm. Saturday, Feb 9 2008

A vision in stone is the Natural History Museum. This is the entrance (and not even all of it, it’s that big). Created by some prick who gained a reputation for being an arsehole, and editing people and their discoveries out of history in the victorian times. Yet, after he fell out of glory, he was a driving force behind the creation and building of this museum, and the one man who turned museums into free, open places for ordinary people to go to, instead of collection and research spaces that were extremely difficult to get into even for the rich.

Does that cancel out his prickery, I wonder? No matter. The Natural History Museum stands.
