Onto Kew! Wednesday, Mar 19 2008

I went with my mother a day last week or so.

Firstly, this picture through crocus of what looks like a victorian water tower.

It was fun lying down for that, avoiding all the other crocus around me, and I was indeed attempting a shot with the macro function. But this just… worked, yanno?

It’s a pretty tree. Monday, Mar 17 2008

Against the embankment of the viaduct, and the sky, and on the edge of the lake. This platform area is new – it’s for you to sit on and… stuff.

Macro. Saturday, Mar 15 2008

I have it, and it is wonderful. It seems to take a bit of practise, as I’m doing better at it than mother, and mother had her camera about a week after mine.

These are crocus at the park. See, the only reason you’re getting loads of birds is that it was winter in January, and in winter the only thing to photograph are birds; in February, early spring, there’s birds and treebuds. But now it’s the middle of spring…

I have a toy. *pats camera* Pretty macro.

Mindfuck. Thursday, Feb 28 2008

I loves it.

Quite frankly, Friday, Feb 15 2008

Because these tell you that the calendar is wrong. It is spring, not winter, because these pretty crocuses are showing their heads. Give it a week, and the purple will be up, and then the white. You tend to learn the growth patterns of crocusses. :)

I like them. There’s this place, ‘cross the Chelmer from the market, an entire green area that comes up in orange, purple, and white, like three seperate overlapping blankets. Must remember to go and take a photo of it.

Bulrushes! Wednesday, Feb 13 2008

Mother told me these were bulrushes. I wouldn’t know. I just thought they were really damn cool.

… dear christ, I’d never seen bulrushes before in my life…
